These luxury hotels are now breaking into the cruising market creating elaborate spas, restaurants, and large suites. Well known luxury hospitality brands such as the Ritz Carlton, Belmond, Aman, and Four Seasons are working on creating 5-star hotels aboard cruise ships.
They want to create a feel of a traditional charter by keeping these cruise ship on the smaller side and adding ultra-luxury feel.
The Ritz-Carlton's first luxury yacht launched this past summer with 149 lavish suites. She is a 623-foot boat. Each of these suites include a private balcony, floor-to-ceiling windows, with high ceilings


Four Seasons cruise ship will come in at 679-feet with 95 suites aboard. Their ship is scheduled for a 2025 launch, with pricing yet to be announced. This project cost about $1.16 Billion, or an average of $4.35 Million per suite.
